Employee’s newborn kept in USME NICU incubator at birth
US Med-Equip employee, Jose Albarran, welcomed his son, Luis Gabriel, in 2008. Born prematurely, Luis Gabriel was nestled and nurtured in an incubator at a local neonatal intensive care unit in Houston. Imagine Jose and his wife’s surprise when they learned that that very incubator was the same one that Jose had just finished cleaning and checking a few days earlier.
At US MED-EQUIP we have had a long tradition of taking care of the equipment as if were to be used by our own family. Of course, Jose was happy and relieved that the Airshield Isolette was one of our own units. Today, Jose, his wife and baby Luis are all doing well.
