US Med-Equip has a range of company programs and events that encourage acceptance and a family atmosphere among our diverse employee base. One such program, US Med-Equip University, gives employees from any location or position who have been with the company for a year or more the opportunity to spend a day with our c-suite executives. During this time, employees learn about the history of how our diversity-owned company grew from a startup into what it is today as well as the customer and patient-centered values that came out of that journey. Other events designed to foster the same values have included company picnics, a holiday party that brings in employees from across the country, baseball games, cookouts and more.
